This week I visited New York to photograph some of the gorgeous puppy mill dogs that were adopted from North Shore Animal League America (NSALA). I will follow up this post with a post (or two!) on all the amazing work NSALA does for animals, but I will just say now, that if you don't know them, you should definitely visit their website and check them out! They are the largest no-kill shelter in the WORLD!
SWEET PEA
Here is just ONE of the cutie pies I photographed on the day. It's little Sweet Pea. The tiny ball of fluff with a heart-shaped tongue. Cute, cute, cute!!! And no, you can't have her! Sweet Pea has already found a loving home of her own. NSALA does, however, help rescue puppy mill dogs like Sweet Pea on a regular basis. If you want to open your heart and your home to a puppy mill dog, please visit the NSALA website for more information.
DO YOU HAVE A HEART FOR PUPPY MILL DOGS?
Sweet Pea will be appearing in the photo book PUPPY MILL SURVIVORS. We have just 6 days left to get the printing for this project funded.
Please pre-order now to help us get the book printed and educate the world about puppy mills so puppy mill dogs like Sweet Pea don't have to live a life of suffering and misery
($49 to pre-order, but even just $4 will help get us there).

Thanks, as always, for your continued support of The Photo Book Projects!
